Americhem offers a synthetic turf filament pilot line as part of its product development laboratories in Dalton, Georgia. Customers looking to streamline color and additive product development as well as synthetic turf spinning capabilities can look to Americhem's product development expertise. The lab-scale capacity speeds color matching and benefits customers by confirming color checks for quality purposes. The pilot line allows for expanded raw material testing including color palettes, stabilizers and additives as well as spin process studies, new formula developments and in-house customer trials.
Nonwovens Pilot Line
Americhem's spunbonded nonwovens pilot line, located at its product development laboratories in Dalton, Georgia, provides customers with visual assessments and pilot runs from the same facility where the company designs and develops its masterbatches for the nonwovens market. The pilot line is designed to run one to three dpf (denier per filament) spunbonded polypropylene samples.
By replicating customers' processes and offering customized design services, Americhem can help customers move differentiated products to market faster and more cost effectively.

At the Color Design Centers, customers can:- Make visual assessments of hundreds of card-wrapped colors under various lighting conditions including daylight, cool-white fluorescent and incandescent to help generate ideas for products
