- Americhem is approximately 25 miles northeast of Charlotte-Douglas Airport. Take Airport Connector to Billy Graham Pkwy. Go north on Billy Graham Pkwy. to I-85 north. Take exit 49 and turn right onto Speedway Blvd. Turn left onto U.S. 29 north past the Philip Morris Plant. Go 5.5 miles and make a slight right onto Cabarrus Ave. Turn right onto 601 Bypass South. Take 601 Bypass to Wilshire Dr. (second light) and turn right. Take Wilshire Dr. to Webb Rd. and turn left. Take Webb to Commerce Dr. and turn right. The plant is on the left at the end of the cul-de-sac.
