Americhem Participates in World Environment Day 2024!

Americhem’s India team celebrated World Environment Day on June 5th by taking action to raise awareness and protect the environment. This globally recognized event, coordinated by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), is a way for citizens and businesses alike to come together to support a sustainable future.
The theme for 2024, “Our Land, Our Future. We are #GenerationRestoration,” emphasizes the importance of restoring land and enhancing resilience to drought. This year, our team planted 15 trees to help restore the landscape and maintain biodiversity.
In addition, our team also chose to observe “No Vehicle Day” on this day as well, where employees were encouraged to use public transportation, walk, or bicycle to minimize emissions from traditional vehicle commute. Every employee who participated also received a small flower or shrub to take home and plant at their residence!
We would like to thank those who participated in these events and who are helping to shape Americhem into a sustainability leader!
