CUSTOM TRANSLUCENT, TRANSPARENT AND OPAQUE COLORS WITH YOUR CHOICE OF FINISH
Whether your extruded product requires a translucent, transparent or opaque finish, Americhem’s ColorFast XSeries™ will help you achieve the desired look. We offer fully formulated, pre-colored resins for direct extrusion plus natural resins for a clear-coat finish or use with color concentrate. Color concentrates are also available for online coloring. Uniform high-gloss, low-haze, matte and satin finishes can be achieved along with even color dispersion.
BROAD POLYMER RESIN RANGE WITH PROVEN SUBSTRATE COMPATIBILITY
The ColorFast XSeries™ is formulated with high-grade PMMA, ASA, ABS, PC, nylon alloy, PE alloy and ionomer resins that can be used to create monolithic or multi-layer structures. Our base resin offering offers proven compatibility with various substrates, including PMMA, ASA, ABS, HIPS, PP, TPO, PVC and PA. Adhesion promoters can be introduced to improve the bonding to substrate materials. Our tie-layer resins are especially effective when bonding polymers together and provide composite structure versatility. ColorFast XSeries™ extrusion compounds allow us to match viscosity for multi-layer extrusion processes and offer usage thickness levels as low as 0.003".
