1941

The Caldwell Co. founded - sold additives and pigments to the rubber industry

1953

Richard H. (Dick) Juve joined the company and later became Owner, CEO and Chairman

1959

Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio plant established; company name changed to “Americhem”

1963

International sales began

1982

Richard C. (Rick) Juve joined the company and later became CEO and Chairman

1995

The first 6 manufacturing plants became ISO 9001 certified

2006

Expanded global manufacturing with the addition of the Suzhou, China plant

2008

Expansion and renovation of World HQ and central R&D

2010

Mark C. Juve joined the company initiating 3rd generation family ownership

2012

Acquired polymer composites manufacturer Infinity Compounding; located in Swedesboro, NJ

2014

Acquired LTL Color Compounders and merges them with Infinity Compounding to create Infinity LTL Engineered Compounds (now Americhem Engineered Compounds)

2014

Americhem Suzhou plant expansion, doubled size and capacity

2016

Acquired Vi-Chem Corp.; located in Grand Rapids, MI

2018

Acquired Prescient Color Ltd.; located in Pune, India (now Americhem Polymers India Private Limited)

2020

Acquired compound and masterbatch manufacturer Controlled Polymers; located in Ribe, Denmark

2021

Americhem Engineered Compounds expands Morrisville, PA plant with 60,000 sq. ft. and an isolated 20,000 sq. ft. “Clean Compounding” room that can house up to six compounding lines.
